What is TS EAMCET?
TS EAMCET: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) conducts Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test popularly known as TS EAMCET. The state-level examination is conducted for admissions to various professional courses offered in more than 300 private colleges and universities in the state of Telangana. Around 2.16 lakh candidates appear for the exam. On the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test, candidates are called for the TS EAMCET counselling process.

TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility
The authority prescribes certain requirements to confirm a candidate’s eligibility for admissions to offered UG courses if they fulfil it. Candidates should fulfil TS EAMCET 2021 eligibility criteria to take the exam for engineering, agriculture and medical courses. Read below TS EAMCET 2021 eligibility including academic requirements, age limit and other conditions.
TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria – Nationality
- Candidates applying for TS EAMCET 2021 should be an Indian National/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
- They should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
- They should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
- There is no upper limit
TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility – Courses
For Engineering, Bio-Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:
- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2001-2003 and subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Biotechnology course.
OR
- Aspirants should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / A.P.
- Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
- In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
- In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on December 31 of the year of admissions.
For B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) Courses:
- Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below: With any two of the subjects:

TS EAMCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria – Age Limit
Candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Q. When will TS EAMCET 2021 be conducted?
A. The authority has announced TS EAMCET 2021 exam dates. The exam is scheduled to be held from July 05 to 09 in online mode for engineering, medical and architecture courses.
When will TS EAMCET 2021 be conducted?
A. The application form of TS EAMCET 2021 will be released tentatively in February.
Q. When will TS EAMCET 2021 application form release?
A. OBC or OC candidates need NOT submit any certificates. ONLY SC / ST category students have to submit the duly attested photocopy of the caste certificate along with the filled-in application form on the day of examination. However, OBC students have to produce category certificates at the time of admission.
Q. I am an OBC category candidate. Should I also enclose the category certificate?
A. Take a copy by entering the registration number and payment reference ID and qualifying examination hall ticket number and mobile number and date of birth and take a printout by clicking ‘Print Filled In Application Form’
Q. If I misplace my copy of the “Filled In Online Application Form”, how to get another copy of it?
A. Along with the hall ticket of TS EAMCET 2021, you have to carry any one of the valid identity proof such as PAN card/Voter’s ID/Passport/Driving License/ Bank passbook with photograph etc.
Q. What should I carry along with my admit card to the examination?
A. No, you do not have to post the filled in application and attachments to the conducting authority.
