DAVID CONCEALS HIS ACTIONS
David arrives at the hospital where Claire, Yasmine and Hélène announce to him that they have mobilized to make a kitty to help him pay his rent. Uncomfortable, the nurse thanks them and then indicates that a friend has lent him money to settle his debts. When they offer him to keep the amount collected, David refuses, stating that he will manage.
Meanwhile, Yann and Élise are investigating Mr. Gassin’s burglary. Unfortunately, the police found no trace of the break-in apart from the broken window. Certain that the burglars wanted to cover their tracks, Élise wonders if the owner would not have entrusted the keys to someone close to him. The latter assures us not.
Not far from there, Lucille tells Ludo about the evening she spent with Mo and David. Having no memory of that night, the journalist fears having slept with a man other than Akim and jeopardizing their relationship. Later, Lucille’s editor would like her to work on the robbery of a small retired shopkeeper. If the journalist is doubtful at first, she immediately changes her mind when she hears that 400,000 euros in cash have been stolen from the victim. Without waiting, Lucille begins her investigation.
For his part, Joël approaches Mo at the end of high school. As she does not recognize him, the young man explains that they met on Monday evening and that they spent part of the night discussing their lives. A magical encounter for Joël who thinks that the fact that they meet again is a sign of fate. Keenly wishing to see her again, he leaves her his phone number.
Later, Lucille makes an appointment with David and Mo in front of Monsieur Gassin’s house. While they understand that they robbed the retiree, Mo wants him to find his bag without attracting the attention of the police. If Lucille considers the idea excellent, David specifies that they are not sure that this money is really his. When Mo insists, David points out that she can’t decide on her own.
CLAIRE AND JANET TAKE CARE OF A NEW PATIENT
Hélène and Claire take care of Karine Bouvet, a new patient admitted to the hospital following an illness. Insofar as she suffers from a cranial traumatism, doctor Lewis prescribes complementary examinations.
Later, Claire tells Karine that they are going to give her a scan. Only, the young woman would like to finish an urgent file for her work and asks the nurse to come back later. When Claire replies that the urgency is to treat her and that her head trauma must be taken seriously, she changes her mind.
Subsequently, the scan revealed no tumor that could have caused Karine’s discomfort. Despite everything, Doctor Lewis would like to keep her under observation to understand what could have happened but Karine, who is feeling well, wants to return to work. She may not be able to force him to take care of himself, but Janet warns him that she may be exposing herself to serious consequences. But nothing helps, Karine sticks to her guns.
At the same time, Florent receives a call from Johanna who tells him that she won the trial in the United States and that she will return to France in a few weeks. The lawyer having managed to earn more than four million dollars for her client, the firm should be able to charge 20% of the sum in fees.
During the day, Claire and Hélène meet for a game of tennis. The two women then come to discuss Janet, whom they consider to be particularly tense since the management puts pressure on her to cut beds in their department. Shortly after, Claire invites her colleague to dinner at her place. Florent comes home with a bottle of champagne in his hand and says to his companion that they will finally be able to buy a house.
