One of the initial major content updates Division 2 Marauder added a new expertise to the shooter. Dubbed Gunner, Fourth Expertise lets you use a powerful minigun, Lobe Rite foam grenade, and deceptive Banshee items. Here’s how to unlock and use gunner expertise.
How to unlock gunner
Since specializations are endgame classes, you will not be able to see or access Gunner Specialization if you have not completed the campaign.
More bad news: Unlocking the gunner is not a quick process – not at all. To use the expertise, you must complete five stages of field research. Each stage has many challenges, and many of them are time-consuming and tedious.
You can check the field research requirements by pressing Triangle / y While on the gunner specializing bench (located in the White House). Only the objectives of Phase 1 will be listed until they are completed.
In Stage 1, you’ll have to shock Roach twice before committing murder at Bank Headquarters, capture all Downtown West control points with sharpshooter expertise, kill 20 enemies with a mounted gun at the Grand Washington Hotel, and five in public. Execution activities have to be completed. In college Shooting rifle.
So if you are making a score, it means that you will have to replay two main missions (at least once) and a type of side activities – just to get through stage 1.
Stage 2 tells you to capture every control point in the southwest, while the survival expert is active, fires Lt. Kennedy three times before hitting him at normal difficulty or hard, killing enemies after being trapped in foam. , And only completes five promotions using a firearm.
For Stage 3, you have another four acts. The first is to break Sgt. Capture all control points in Downtown East and Federal Triangle using downtonist specialization, defeating confused enemies, and just five SMG convoy movements with SMGs, before hitting Wade’s helmet in a normal or hard way. We do.
Stage 4 is just like the rest. Start by beating General Ridgway without using an armor kit on normal or hard, take down five heavy weapon enemies in the open world, kill enemies after being exposed to a pulse, and five areas with just one rifle. Defeat control activities.
Four more works are awaited in the fifth and final phase. You need to break all of the Basilisk’s armor before hitting it at normal or hard, use mounted weapons to kill enemies in the Roosevelt Island stronghold, just complete control point activities with an LMG, and finally weapons. Kill enemies in the open world by using them.
Year 1 Pass Owners Get Instant Access
You can skip the unlock process altogether by purchasing the Year 1 pass for $ 40. If you are a Year 1 pass, exclusive cosmetic awards will be unlocked instead of completing field research.
The Year 1 Pass gives you seven days of early access to three DLC episodes (drops after the first summer), eight exclusive classified assignments, other exclusive gifts, and yes, quick access to new expertise. Considering Gunner is the first of only three unlockable specializations, you will likely have a lot of grinding without a Year 1 pass.
Gunner: The Basics
Gunner Specialization Grant Agents used a new signature weapon: the Minigun. Large green / yellow enemy resembling high powered guns moves around Division 2, Minigun transforms your agent into a tank capable of killing groups of enemies in a hurry. It is also an ideal weapon to bring down bosses from closed range.
After unlocking the gunner, you’ll have three skill points that can be applied to its unique skill tree in the specialties menu. This class-specific grenade is enough to unlock the riot foam. These grenades revolve around enemies, preventing them from using their weapons for some time.
A new unlockable item, the Banshee, also comes in Gunner Specialization. Banshee sends an arc of pulse energy towards enemies that will confuse them regardless of whether they are under cover or not. Two additional mods can increase the range of the banshee and expire.
Along with the other three specialties, Gunner also has a group of unlockable talents who do things like increase weapon damage, produce ammo, and increase the rate of fire. When you play as a gunner class, you will earn points for spending in the skill tree.
