People dream of vacationing at the Disney Parks every single day. With six different Disney Parks around the world — Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disneyland — there is a vacation destination for every family.

The Disney Parks are magical and like no other vacation, but magic comes at a price. It’s no secret Disney trips are expensive, but does that affect who is most likely to book a Disney Parks vacation?

Who Is Most Likely to Visit the Disney Parks?

According to a new Insider poll, those who are most likely to consider a Disney vacation are those who make less than $75,000 per year. Those who were surveyed were first asked “Would you visit a Disney theme park this year?”. The results showed a majority of people who answered that they would (or probably would) visit a Disney Park were in the category of a yearly income of $75,000 or less.

Per Insider:

Of those who said they either “definitely would” or “probably would” take a Disney vacation, 222 were respondents who said they have a yearly income of $75,000 or less. But when it came to participants who said they earn more than $75,000 per year, only 109 respondents said they “definitely” or “probably” would visit.

Insider’s survey isn’t too surprising as a Disney Parks vacation is a dream for so many people and families all around the world. And after seeing the results from Insider’s poll, it seems as though for those who want to go the most, visiting a Disney Park may not be as accessible.

What we mean by that is that every single day, people are dreaming of magical Disney vacations, but at the end of the day — the Disney Parks are expensive.

How Expensive Is Disney?

For example, when looking at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the standard 1-day Disney World ticket price can range from $109 to $159 depending on the dates and month of your choosing. And that is just for one 1-Day ticket. Guests can save $20 per ticket when purchasing a 3-day or longer ticket online, however, it still adds up.

Additionally, Walt Disney World has over 30 Resort hotels and other great accommodations to choose from, which also costs a pretty penny. Disney Resorts fall into several categories depending on Guests’ budgets. Guests can choose from Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness to a Value Resort, followed by Moderate, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villas.

How Can You Book an Affordable Disney Vacation?

There are several ways you can save when booking a Disney vacation. One way is to be sure to check the offers page on the official Disney website. Walt Disney World, for example, almost always has a discount available to those looking to book a vacation.

Another way is to weigh your options when it comes to hotels. Disneyland offers several places to stay off-site that won’t cost nearly as much as a Disneyland Resort hotel. And over at Walt Disney World, your best bet to save on a hotel is to choose a Value Resort and, again, to check if Disney World is offering any promotions at the time.
