Ticket’s for Oogie Boogie Bash, Disneyland Resort’s Halloween party at Disney California Adventure, went on sale yesterday, and it seems that the event is already beginning to fill up!
When the virtual queue became active yesterday, some issues at hand caused many Guests looking to purchase a ticket to receive an “error” message after inserting their payment method. Others were waiting in the virtual queue for hours as Disney worked to handle the overwhelming demand on the website. Considering the massive amount of people attempting to purchase tickets for the special event on the first day they went on sale, it’s clear that there is high anticipation and excitement for Halloween at Disneyland Resort.
We are already starting to see sold-out days between the September-October run of the event! If we take a look at the availability for Oogie Boogie Bash today, we can see that three dates are already sold out. As of this morning, Tuesday, September 28, Tuesday, October 19, and Saturday, October 30, are no longer available for Guests to purchase. At the moment, there is no word regarding whether or not Disney will release more availability for these dates, so as of now, those three are unavailable.
October 30 selling out is no surprise as it is the only Saturday evening that Oogie Boogie Bash is being held. All other event days fall on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays. The good news is that October 31, Halloween, is still available and open for Guests to purchase tickets to the event at the time of this article’s publication.
Considering that three dates are already gone for this limited capacity event, it seems that purchasing tickets as soon as possible is your best bet to ensure you can attend Oogie Boogie Bash on the date you want. Although the Disneyland website had issues for Guests purchasing yesterday, it seems to have been cleared up now, and at this time purchasing tickets is a breeze.
There is still a virtual queue in place when you visit the Disneyland Resort website to purchase tickets. But when waiting in line, the queue only had us at a four-minute wait, which is dramatically shorter than what many waited yesterday.
Considering Oogie Boogie Bash is the only Halloween party happening at the U.S. Disney Parks this year (as Disney World is solely hosting Boo Bash, an After Hours event that is Halloween-themed), tickets to the party are a hot commodity!
Are you planning on attending Oogie Boogie Bash this year?
