The Jellyrolls dueling piano bar is an incredibly popular location on Walt Disney World Resort’s BoardWalk. Unfortunately, the lively spot has been closed for an extended period of time — it has not reopened since Disney World began its post-pandemic closure reopening process in May 2020.

Now, the popular Jellyrolls performer known as Piano Rob has provided his Instagram followers with the first Jellyrolls update in months — and the news is not great. Rob has confirmed that he won’t be back at Jellyrolls when the venue does reopen to Guests, whenever that may be.
In part, his July 2, 2021 post reads:
I am so sorry to everyone that I will not be at Jellyrolls whenever that magical opening day will be. I hope this changes and things align but unfortunately I have no reason to believe it will.
I will still be at the hotel often and luckily there are many amazing opportunities for me to play piano in and around Walt Disney World!
