Valkyrie fights are ones in which your focus should not be on reducing damage, but avoid taking it. This is different from most of the game’s battles. Valkyries all carry a huge amount of health and suffer massive damage when they hit you, so a couple of detours with Leviathan X is not going to cut it – leaving you in for the long haul. There is a need to be in a fight, and that means playing smart. Your greatest focus should be on learning each Vulkery’s set of tricks and avoiding the dealers with their biggest losses. There are some overlaps, but each Valkyrie has its own special set of moves that require quick reflexes to avoid damage. Keep your guard up while you can and watch for unblockable red circle attacks. You’ll find that avoiding Valkyrie attacks will usually help you open up to strike back, but don’t leave to attack and expose yourself. Deal a little damage and stay back. Being alive is the best way to win.
The highest level of armor you can bring
A lot of stats and allowances are available with weapons and armor. God of war, But the most important aspect of your equipment is always its overall level number. You will need powerful gear to take over Valkyries. In all cases, the Valkyries deal a ton of damage when they do damage to you, and it is unlikely that you will be able to avoid your attacks altogether as you battle. Higher gear levels are required to allow you to absorb Valkyries’ punishment for those moments when an attack is through. Some are harder to obtain than others, though: the first few you can reach, such as in places like Thamur’s corpus, are easier than those that become accessible after visiting Hellheim.
Generally, you want your level to take Valkyries by at least 6 – but a more realistic point for beating most of them is around level 8. For Valkyrie Queen, you may need to push up to the level. 9. If beating a Valkyrie is bothering you, then go to the task of upgrading your gear. In places like Mustelheim or Niflheim, try to defeat your Valkyrie instead of continuing to bang your head. Bang on the wall constantly
Focus on health enhancing devices
Several pieces of armor, some enchanting, and even a runic attack or two are geared towards restoring his health. You definitely want them, as well as armor that increases your defense and vitality stats. For example, Ivaldi’s armor, which you can craft in Niflheim, is easy because it consistently restores a small amount of health (it also carries a ton of enchantment slots and upgraded it to level 8 May go). Likewise, the gift of Apollo Heavy Runic Attack will restore some health as you take damage against enemies. You should also consider buying Atreus’s Runic Vestment Armor, as it will sometimes change the way of Health Stones Kratos in combat situations, which could mean the difference between winning and losing. You want anything you can get to keep yourself alive in some of the toughest Valkyrie fights, so don’t leave any advantage behind.
Focus on the health of Valkyrie
If you look closely at the health bars of the Valkyries at the bottom of the screen, you will see that they are heavily fragmented. Pay attention to how much damage you are taking when you attack each Valkyrie, and how fast you can move down on those segment markers. When you do enough damage to completely empty one of those segments, Valkyrie will drop a Health Stone, and you’ll need every one of them. If you can pay enough attention, then you will know that you can expect a Health Stone and how much damage you may have to suffer, and this information can help keep you alive. In any case, keep your eye out for Valkyrie to drop those health stones, and then make sure you don’t leave yourself open when you pick them up.
Use high damage runic attacks
When choosing your runic attacks for Valkyrie’s fights, leave with a high stun quotient and go for the damage instead. Likewise, not all are useful in the area of effect attacks, as all Valkyrie fights except one are one-on-one (one of the Valkyrie will summon Dragre to make your life more difficult). Picking up nice Runic attacks and completely upgrading them before a Valkyrie fight can really make a difference. In general, runic attacks can cause major damage, as well as disrupt incoming Vulcari attacks. They also usually cannot resist themselves with attacks from Valkyries. At critical moments, a Runic attack can do enough damage to gain Valkyrie to topple a Health Stone. Use your runic attacks as often as possible to keep your damage down and gain advantage in battle.
Save your Spartan anger for emergencies
While Runic attacks are good for dealing a lot of damage, Spartan Rage is something you might want to avoid when you really need it. Activating anger is impossible for Valkyrie to interrupt your attacks while you’re fighting over it, and it also restores some health. This second aspect makes it great for you to deploy in times of emergency, as you will heal a bit when you injure Valkyrie, and you can also drop a Health Stone or two. Just remember that as soon as your raise is finished, be careful to avoid damage.
There is always a resurrection stone
After being able to buy resurrection stones from dwarves, you should always keep them nearby – although they are known to be essential items needed to destroy Valkyries. These monsters have a tremendous amount of health and kill their opponents very hard. Your chances of dying are incredibly high, but a Resurrection Stone will help you survive. In fact, you want the best you can get your hands on; Later in the game, a purple legendary resurrection stone will become available. This particular stone will restore a moderate amount of health but gives full restrained rage. Your playing style will indicate whether the stone will help boost your health once you get up again. However, it is necessary to remember to change your rocks every time you battle Valkyrie because there is nothing worse than being on the verge of victory and then there is no hope of returning.
Use the atrios to keep the Valkyries out of the air.
Many Valkyries have impressive and notably attacking methods that they use exclusively when they fly in the air. One shoots a shockwave that can blind Kratos, while the other Valkyrie has a huge, powerful hammer strike. You can interrupt many of these advances, however, by using Atreus’s arrows. Atreus is generally not particularly helpful in Valkyrie’s fights because his arrows cannot shock Valkyries, and he generally cannot approach too closely to attacks. But when the Valkyries take flight, you must surround them with arrows to attempt to knock them back to the ground. If you protect yourself from some of the most dangerous attacks thrown at you, you can make them aware of a follow-up attack if you can quickly surround them.
