Release date

Sadly, no release date is set for this Breath of the wild. Many were speculating that it might launch around the 2020 holiday season, but it never arrived. Given the current epidemic, development and shipment of games – at least the physical version – has slowed down considerably, meaning that the release date may have been postponed further. The latest Nintendo Direct was also devoid of it Breath of the wild The information, stating only that more information will be announced later this year.

In all likelihood, the sequel will not see the light of day until the second half of 2021. The first Wild breath E3 made its debut during 2014 and did not launch until 2017. Breath of the wild It wasn’t teased before that time – Nintendo announced at E3 2019 – and even then, Nintendo claimed it was only in development. If past schedules are any indication, we are still waiting a little ahead of us. Some even think the game is being held when a rumor launches Switch Pro, or whatever they name a fictional more powerful version of Switch. Given that we have not heard a peep about this, we are excited for now.

The rumored game will likely only be available on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo is not keen on porting its high-performance first-party titles to other consoles, and we don’t expect that trend to change when Breath of the wild Is finally released.

The trailers

Nintendo has released only one trailer for Breath of the Wild 2 – and this is only one trailer to announce the development of the upcoming game. You can shine a bit of information from the footage, but don’t expect to see any gameplay or massive revelations.

The gameplay

Although the release date is on the air, we are confident that the players will return to the original Hyrule Wild breath. Eiji Aonuma, producer of Wild breath And its upcoming sequel stated that he would love to tour the world again and introduce new gameplay concepts with a new story. He later said that Breath of the wild In fact there will be a “continuation” of the original, meaning that we should know more about the Hyrule that we know and love over the years.

One thing everyone knows from the trailer is that this entry is a lot more adventurous than its predecessor. Aonuma confirmed that the entry would be the same Gelada’s Saga: Majora’s Mask In tone – easily the deepest and most disturbing game in the series. How exactly it will play is unknown, however, it has been confirmed that it will No Tie in Majora’s Mask in any way. It’s going for a similar aesthetic, but that doesn’t mean any story element from the hit Nintendo 64 title will make an appearance.

Obviously, the driving factor for making a Wild breath The sequel came from the development team covering several DLC ideas. While the DLC works to add small changes to a game – it essentially acts as an extension – you are often limited to the existing structure of the title. Aonuma said that there were some major changes in the team that they wanted to implement, but they could not do so using DLC. As time passed and more ideas began to perish, it became clear that a new game was the only way to make them a reality.

Breath of the wild 2 zelda and link

As soon as the trailer came out in E3 2019, the internet exploded with rumors and speculation. This is not at all reliable, but we have prepared a brief list of the most realistic handkerchiefs. Nintendo has not commented in any way about the following claims, so it is possible that some of these great ideas may incorporate it into the final product:

  • In the E3 trailer, Link and Zelda discover some sort of underground chamber, but Zelda clearly remembers. His hair is cut short in a type of bob, and fans are speculating that he will be a playful character. Fewer hairs are less likely to clump in other objects and make it easier to draw a clean look without any animation. We’re not sure how likely it is – but we can’t deny that it would be great to run around Hyrule as someone other than Link.
  • Watching Link and Zelda together in the trailer led some fans to realize that it could be a co-op title. Aonuma was asked about this possibility and did not give a direct answer. While this probably won’t be the driving force of the game, we hope you’ll be able to partner with a friend this time.
  • Many cave paintings refer to it before being calamity. Does this mean that the title can be prequal to the original?
  • Traditional dungeons may make a comeback. Since players are already familiar with Hyrule’s maps, it makes sense that new locations would have to be placed underground or indoors.
  • Ganondorff is most likely the villain, as he fits in as the creeping corpse seen in the trailer. Some are even speculating that Zant is an opponent of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, May also return, but there is not much evidence to support this claim.

The game is rumored to include a co-op – but that’s only because fans saw Link and Zelda searching together in the trailer. Nothing is official yet, although offering a co-op would be a major change compared to Wilde’s original breast.

DLC plans have not been confirmed, but it is very possible that Nintendo will offer some post-release support. If we are using Wild’s Breath as a basis, then hopefully a lot of DLC packs will be released in the months following the arrival of Wild 2.

pre order

As the game has yet to receive an official release date – or even an official name from Nintendo – pre-orders are still not live for the upcoming game.
