Aerial View of Universal’s Hogwarts Show Gives Stunning Firework Views –

On July 1, not only did Disney World bring back Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Forever at EPCOT, but Universal Orlando Resort welcomed the magical return of a nighttime spectacular, as well!

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration has been airing at Universal Studios Florida for quite some time now, but Islands of Adventure lacked nighttime activity. Now, The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle has returned for Guests to enjoy. Universal uses the Hogwarts castle in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to serve as the canvas for this projection mapping show, which also involves pyrotechnics.

Photographer Bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) took to Twitter to post a photo of the show, but from a much different view than most Guests get to see! Below, you can see The Nighttime Lights At Hogwarts Castle from a bird’s eye view in a fantastic and glowing aerial shot.

Seeing the fireworks from above is quite interesting, as we can see where exactly the pyrotechnics shoot from, and it is not Hogwarts! The building behind the castle is clearly where Universal keeps all of its equipment to launch the fireworks each night.

Universal Orlando Resort describes the fireworks as:

Brighten Your Night.
Come experience a dazzling spectacle of music and lights. On select nights, watch in awe from Hogsmeade™ village as projections are cast against the majestic backdrop of the castle. Embrace your Hogwarts™ pride as the four houses are celebrated in stunning light and sound. It’s a beautiful way to end your day at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

If you are heading to Islands of Adventure soon and want to catch the show, it runs multiple times each night. According to the website, Guests can watch the fireworks every 20 minutes from dusk to park close.
